How to defend CORONA VIRUS ?

  • What is CORONA VIRUS?

Corona virus also known as COVID-19, where CO means corona; VI means virus; D means diseases and 19 means in the year 2019. The virus causes illness with symptoms such as cough, fever, and in more severe cases difficulty in breathing

The name “coronavirus” comes from the crown-like projections on the surfaces of the virus. “Corona” in Latin means “halo” or “crown.”
Due to lack of awareness and safety measures the outbreak of the mysterious new corona virus is rapidly spreading. The whole world is going through the fear of this CORONA  virus.

  •  When It was founded firstly?
Corona virus was first found in China (Wuhan town) on December 31st 2019. Then china government has confirmed

health authorities were treating dozens of cases. After sometimes china authorities and researchers confirmed that a new virus has infected dozens of people in china.

On the month of January 2020 china has reported its first death due to corona virus, when a 61 years old man has died.

  • Symptoms of Corona Virus:

symptoms of corona virus is normally cold, fever and cough but the question arise how can we differentiate if we are attacked by the virus or not is there any way to differentiate?

The answer is yes, when someone gets cold or flu  they should isolate themselves and check the day by day process of illness as mentioned below:

  • Firstly if you have had contact with the virus then

  • Day 1-2 : Little cold  and little pain in the neck

  • Day 3    :  Mild fever with cough

  • Day 4    : Mild headache or it may be normal

  • Day 6-7Some severe body pain, headache will increase, Diarrhea will increase or it may reduce but one should have upset in the stomach and vomiting may also happen.

Now very important portion comes here when one should have keep watching is that on Day 8 and Day 9 the symptoms we have disused above they might decrease that is headache will decrease, fever will decrease the stomach problem will also reduce only some cold may be there.
If this happens on Day 8 and Day 9 that means our body have resists its corona and have formed resistance to the virus, this is happening to most of the people. then also one should not get panic and not need to get tested for the COVID-19 as the antibodies have already formed by the body.

But if it is not decreasing on  day 8 and day 9 instead it increases and the is feeling worst then one should  immediately contact to the Doctor and get tested.

As India is a very big country it is not possible to get testing facility to everyone to their door step instead they should follow the instructions and the get tested.

HOW TO DEFEND CORONA VIRUS:

Till now no any vaccines  for COVID-19 has invented. WHO  has announced it as a global famine. But there is certain precautions given by WHO by which we can protect ourselves.

To prevent the Transmission of COVID-19 and to protect us from the virus we mush follow the instructions:

  • Wash hands regularly for atleast 20 seconds with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub (where the percentage of alcohol mush be 60% or more then 60%)
  • Avoid touching your face.

  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
  • Maintain at least 1 meter distance between you and people coughing or sneezing.

  • Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.

  • Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people, stay at home, if possible work from home only.

  • And also one thing to remember that it is not a Infectious Diseases it is not spread by air, but the small spittle particles which come out while coughing and sneezing when it comes in contact with our hand or mouth or any part of our body from the effected people then it can spread to a normal people. So it is advised to use  mask or handkerchief while coughing , and keep a minimum of 1 meter of distance from a person having cold or effected by the CORONA virus.

The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently.

we must follow the instructions to avoid the transmission of the virus. as there is no other way to protect ourselves. If we don't take the situation seriously the condition may go worst like it is in the most of the countries.

Though it was first found in china but due to lack of awareness and neglecting the situation a million miles away Italy is suffering a lot according to the data of the Italy Govt. and WHO Report.

There is total 267013 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 11,201 deaths in around 184 countries. as there is no vaccine for this virus only awareness and safety can save us from this deadly disease.

In India there is 258 cases on date of publication of the report. India is in stage 2 and the cases are increasing day by day the condition may be worst when India will face stage 3.

    Impact:

According to the Italy national health institute the average age of those who have died was around 80-81 and also those who have their lungs problem previously. Only one in five COVID-19 patients is between the age of 19-50 years. The older population significantly more impacted by the virus in Italy. Italy has life expectancy of 82.54 years. and 23 percent of the population is over age 65 as the elder people is more in Italy so the effect is also more there.

In India the life expectancy of the people is 68.56 years. 50% of the population is below 25 years and more then 65% is below 35.
And by 2020 the average age of an Indian will be 29 where in China it will be 37 and Japan 48.
This may be the reason the impact of the virus in India is less. and also the Indian Govt. has taken all the necessary steps to stop the spread of the virus.
