The home ministry on Friday permitted all shops in residential and market complexes outside municipal limits and all neighborhood, standalone shops as well as shops in residential complexes within municipal limits of non-containment zones to open during the lockdown. However this concession has not been extended to single and multi-brand malls.

  • Defence Minister launches First COVID-19 Mobile Testing Laboratory titled “Mobile BSL-3 VRDL Lab” through video conferencing. This Lab has been developed by Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO), in collaboration with ESIC, Hyderabad 15 days with due permission of ICMR.



  • DIPAS and INMAS, DRDO laboratories have designed and developed Ultraviolet C Light based sanitization box and hand held UV-C (ultraviolet light device) with wavelength 254 nanometers.



  • SpaceX successfully launched a new batch of 60 Starlink satellites into orbit and nailed a rocket landing at sea to cap the mission with Falcon 9 rocket. It was launched from Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

Indian railways to cancel booking till 30th April: Indain railways cancel booking                      The Railways of India cancelled bookings up to 30th April for three privately operated trains amid the uncertainty over the extension of the 21-day national lock down. The railways cancelled bookings for the following trains KASHI-MAHAKAL EXPRESS which runs between Varanasi to Indore; TEJAS EXPRESS runs between Ahemadabad and Mumbai it also runs between Delhi and Lucknow.
