- PM Modi signals push to attract firms that exit China to India
PM Modi on Thursday discussed ways to attract investments with
his top ministerial colleagues, paving the way for a comprehensive strategy
paper to be formally cleared by the cabinet in the coming weeks. The PM had signaled
to boost investments by capturing a part of the supply chain expected to move
out of China looking to diversify their production base.

- Government of India and ADB signs loan agreement for CARES programme
Government of India and Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a
$1.5 billion loan agreement for the COVID-19 Active Response and Expenditure
Support Programme
